To centre the casing at pre
Selected points and to obtain a more uniform, annular cementing
space in the Oil well, Straight Casing Centralizers are one of
the important cementing aid used. Besides, these help in
minimizing the hazards of channeling and ensures installation of
the casing pipe in the well.
LAXMI UDYOG Centralizers are non weld with hinges and lips kept
integral with the Collars. These are best designed to have their
versatile applications. The construction of the Centralizers
assures that hinges will not open while casing is being run
regardless of hole direction or irregularities in formations.
The Centralizers will provide effective centering down the hole.
The Spring Bows, the critical parts of the Centralizer, are made
of high quality special steel strips. Bows are forged in four
different unique designs to have varied heights. These are then
hardened and tempered to ensure optimum mechanical properties to
meet or exceed. the STARTING AND RESTORING FORCE criteria
specified in A.P.I. Standard 10 D. Bows are then flattened
several times on a special machine to get permanent setting.
All Centralizers bear A.P.I. Monogram on account of their
consistent product quality.

Note :
|
1. |
When the bows are completely
deflected, these figures represent the largest rigid
diameter of the centralizer. These values could be
the bows, centralizer or any other part of the
centralizer. |
|
2. |
Bow type shall be selected according
to required hole size combination. |
Installation of
Centralizers
LU-Centralizers can be
installed very conveniently and quickly on the casing
pipe by merely wrapping the pre-assembled two halves on
the pipe and inserting pins in the collar hinges.

Spring Bows
The spring bows, the critical parts
of the Centralizer, are made of high quality special
steel strips. These are sheared to size and
normalised to have the proper grain structure. Bows
are forged in four different unique designs to have

to ensure optimum mechanical properties to meet or
exceed the STARTING AND RESTORING FORCD criteria
specified in A.P.I. Standard 10-D. Bows are then

to get permanent setting.
