Sucker Rod Coupling & Sub (Cross Over) Couplings :
Manufacturing

Couplings and sub (Cross Over) coupling are made in two classes. Class T and Class SM, both are made from alloy steel as per API D, specification 11-B, unless otherwise specified or specified in Table 1. The couplings and sub coupling are effectively heat treated to achieve the specified mechanical properties. Both are machined on CNC machine to ensure face of Sucker rod coupling coupling are perfectly at right angle to the axis. All dimensions are kept in accordance with API specification 11-B, unless otherwise specified.
 



 
   

Sucker Rod Coupling

   

Sucker Rod Coupling :

Sucker Rod coupling have the same box thread size in each end and are used for connecting Sucker Rods. External dimensions shall be as per Table 5. Box thread dimensions shall conform to Table 4.



 

Sub Couplings (Cross over coupling) :

 Sub Coupling have different box thread in each end and are used for connecting two sizes of Sucker Rods or a Polished Rod to a Sucker Rod string. External dimensions shall conform to Table 5 out side diameter (w) shall conform to the larger box thread. Box thread dimensions shall conform to Table 4

Polished Rod Coupling

   

Polished Rod Coupling :

Polished Rod couplings have the same box thread size in each end and used for connecting the Polished Rod to the Sucker Rod string. External dimensions shall conform to Table 5. Box thread dimensions shall DC w conform to Table 4.



 

Class SM Coupling :

The base material is as per API 11-B specifications. Coupling has metal sprayed coating as per API 11-B specification.

                 (API Grade-K)          

3) LS-3 :- For heavy loads in non-corrosive or inhibited wells.

                 (API Grade-D)

4) LS-4 :- For heavy load at any depth and in mild corrosive or inhibited wells.
