Specification of Stop Collar :

Stop collar devices are used to limit the travel of centralizers, turbolizers, positive centralizers and scratchers on the casing pipe. These are made in two designs.

A. Non-Hinged stop collar (a solid ring with internal groove duly slotted for inserting spiral locking pin)
B. Hinged & Bolted stop collar.
 

Specification of Non-Hinged Stop Collar :

It is a simple but a unique design-having an internal groove with two slots. The spiral locking pins are driven in both the slots with impact of a hammer. These spiral pins follow the groove along the inside of the collar thereby firmly tightening the stop collar device in its position.
