Valve assembly available for
all makes and models of Slush Pumps.
The Valve Assembly being a critical component, plays a very
important role in Slush Pumps. All the components of Valve
Assembly, Valve Body, Valve Seats, Valve Inserts, Split Lock,
Snap Ring and Guide etc. are required to be given optimum
mechanical properties so that the assembly does not fail early
under the stress of pressure, speeds, temperature and corrosive
fluids. LU Valve Assemblies of almost all type of Slush Pumps
are made and supplied.
The best type of Alloy Steels are taken for all the components
of the valve Assembly. The Valve body and Valve Seats are forged
to have the correct grain structure. After annealing and
machining, these steel components are properly heat treated
under controlled conditions to get sufficient mechanical
strength and wear resistance Valve. Body's bevel taper and its
stem are ground finished to have the maximum possible metal to
metal contact. The three web type Valve Seats provide added flow
area, allow lower flow velocity, reduce abrasion and less
turbulence. Consequent to it, Slush Pump's efficiency is
enhanced which makes the working life of Assembly longer.
The Valve Insert is manufactured from a special synthetic rubber
compound and is die moulded under controlled conditions of
temperature, pressure and time. Normally, 85o shore hardness is
kept on the Valve Insert to resist abrasion and high pressure.
The Snap Rings are made out of spring steel and hardened. and
tempered to give a permanent setting so as to provide a proper
tension and not to become loose while in service.
The split Lock plates are also properly heat treated to provide
enough strength. The knock on plate is steel casted, hardened
and tempered for good strength.
